The "Harmonious Sanctuary Retreat" project envisions the Kilkenny Boutique Hotel and Oyster Bar as a sustainable and tranquil haven that seamlessly integrates architecture with its natural surroundings in Richmond Hill. Focused on promoting relaxation and well-being, the design incorporates eco-friendly materials, thoughtful landscaping, and strategic spatial zoning to balance public, semi-private, and private areas, such as a day spa, oyster bar, coffee bar, and ADA-compliant suites. By fostering a deep connection with nature and offering spaces for both community engagement and personal solace, the project aims to create an immersive retreat that exemplifies sustainability and harmony.

THE PILLOWMAN by Martin McDonagh                                                                                             2024

The stage design for The Pillowman uses minimalist, symbolic elements to embody the play’s themes of storytelling, censorship, and psychological trauma. Featuring unstable, book page-like structures that reveal hidden spaces, the set mirrors the fractured mental states of the characters. Shifting lighting enhances the oppressive mood, while suspended paper fragments in the final scene represent the disintegration of Katurian’s reality. Through interactive set pieces and layered symbolism, the design transforms the stage into a psychological landscape that deepens the audience's immersion in the narrative’s emotional and thematic complexities.
